oversees Univera's MRP-BRP, product integrity/quality, manufacturing, distribution, product development, as well as IT-IS technology for Univera, Aloecorp, Unigen and the ECONET
He is also co-chair of ECONET's Global Product Development Committee.
Ralph joined Univera in 2007 after previously creating and then serving as President and CEO of BioRev LLC, an advanced consumer products company based in Olympia, Wash. Under his three-year leadership, the company forged successful operational partnerships in Japan, China and South Korea.
has more than 30 years of executive-level experience in market expansion, operations, global technology transfers, company turn-arounds, new product introductions, and venture start-ups.
In 2001, he was CEO of both Crystal Cascade Beverage Co. and PBNW/Columbia Beverage, a major PepsiCo bottler.
In under five years, Ralph
led efforts to rebuild the ailing company by optimizing production, recovering $11 million in bad debt, rebuilding labor relations, and increasing sales from 19 million to 26 million cases per year.
Ralph also brings extensive international experience, having worked overseas for several multinational corporations including Coca-Cola, Monsanto, Hoechst Pharmaceuticals AG, and Novo Nordsk A/S.
Ralph holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from TSU in Angola, Ind., and an M.S. and PhD. in naturology from AIHT in Birmingham, Ala.
He also earned an MBA from Emory University's Goizueta School of Business.
He has completed executive education seminars at Harvard, Dartmouth, MIT, Duke, Emory Universities EDC & MDP, and the Universities of California (Berkeley), Michigan, and Chicago.
Ralph has served on the Board of Governors at The Evergreen State College as an Executive Committee member and Chairman of the Finance & Investment committee.
He is also on the Board of Directors for Harlequin Theatre and Community Foundation.
