LATROBE, Pa. (AP) -- Kennametal Inc. said Friday it named Raj Datt as vice president and chief information officer, effective Sept. 25, to lead the company's global information technology organization.
Datt joins Kennametal from Panasonic Automotive Systems Co. of America, where he served as VP, and chief information officer.
Previously, he held various positions in IT at GE Transportation Systems and GE Power Systems, as well as with other global firms including Boeing.Datt was elected an executive director of Matsushita Electronics USA in 2004 and became VP in October 2005.
