This week Miss Radwa El Shafaie, Editor of PC World/ Electronica talks about her job and what it takes to be an editor.

Miss Al Shafaie said, " I edit all the articles before the magazine goes live.
"Writing should not be treated as a profession that you learn or acquire" Miss Al Shafaie said.
Miss Al Shafaie graduated from the Faculty of Alsun, Ain Shams University in 1997. She worked for a year in the Japanese News Agency as a news researcher and translator. She then joined a USAID project and worked as a legal translator and court administration specialist. In October 2000 she moved to another USAID project as an editorial and communication specialist. In May 2001, she joined IBA Media as the editor of Electronica magazine. After 6 month, Electronica and PC World Egypt merged to make a bigger magazine, targeting not only young readers, but also IT businesses and professionals. Whenever she was not working in the publishing field, she kept publishing her articles and poems in Egyptian and Arab magazines, including Akhbar Aladdab (Akhbar Alyoum's weekly literature publication.
