Born June 10, 1921, in Malvern, OH, to the late Charles and Rachel DePalmo
.He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran, a 50 year member of the Catholic Foresters and a member of Malvern American Legion Post #375.Mr. DePalmo
was a self employed furniture upholsterer for 35 years and was an avid Cleveland Indians fan.Preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters.Survivors include his
wife, Helen of the home, with whom he
celebrated 54 years of marriage; three sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph L. and Krista DePalmo, James P. and Donda DePalmo, Jeffrey C. and Ginamarie DePalmo, all of Canton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Joan E. and D. Bruce Lightell of Jackson Twp. and Janice C. and Terry A. Urbas of North Canton; ten grandchildren; two great-grandsons; one sister and brother-in-law, Grace and Bernard Larson of Malvern; several nieces and nephews.
