Full Text: Aeroflex Incorporated has announced the appointment of Fred Jiang Qi as China Country Manager for its Test and Measurement group.
In this position, Mr. Qi
will be responsible for all of Aeroflex Test Solutions sales activities in China, including the solicitation of orders, maintaining customer relations and coordination of sales representatives and distributors.He
will also coordinate Aeroflex,s product installations, customer training and support.Mr. Qi will office in Beijing and will report to Jimmy Tan, Vice President of Asia Pacific.
...Mr. Qi comes to Aeroflex with 15 years experience in the Test and Measurement industry.His
business experience encompasses engineering, sales and management.Mr. Qi began his career in 1990 as an R&D Engineer for the Shanghai #26 Radio Factory.He was promoted to Chief Design Engineer in 1993 and successfully led a team of R&D engineers to design a microwave spectrum analyzer for the Ministry of Electronics Industry of China.He then joined Hewlett-Packard (later Agilent) in 1996 as a Sales Engineer selling into the manufacturing sector in the Jiangsu area.He was promoted to Senior Sales Engineer and then to District Sales Manager for the Communications Solutions Group where he led a team of sales engineers selling into the Telephone Operators in Southern China and into Network Equipment Manufacturers. Fred graduated from the Shanghai University of Science & Technology with a BSEE (Excellent Graduate Honors) in 1990.
