Priscilla Orr is the author of two poetry collections: Losing the Horizon (2013) and Jugglers & Tides (1997). An associate professor of English at Sussex County Community College, she has been honored in Tiferet: A Journal of Spiritual Literature, and was a featured poet at the 2012 New Jersey Poets Prize Reading. She is also a recipient of fellowships from New Jersey State Council on the Arts and Yaddo and has been twice nominated for a Pushcart Prize.

Priscilla Orr
is the author of Jugglers & Tides and Losing the Horizon from Hannacroix Creek Books. She is a recipient of a fellowship from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts and a residency from Yaddo. Twice-nominated for a Pushcart Prize, Orr's poems have appeared in Southern Poetry Review, Worcester Review, Tiferet, and other journals.
Orr is a poet for the Geraldine R. Dodge Poetry Program and is the founding Director of the Betty June Silconas Poetry Center. She is also the founding editor of The Stillwater Review. A Professor of English at Sussex County Community College, she teaches literature and writing. Orr lives with Crosby, her Norwich terrier, in Hamburg, NJ.

About the Author
Priscilla Orr graduated from the University of Montana. She also holds an M.A. from
Columbia University's Teachers College and an M.F.A. from Warren Wilson College.
New Jersey Council on the Arts fellowship recipient, Orr was raised in Mississippi and
Montana. She started writing poetry at fifteen, after her family could no longer afford to
give her piano lessons. "Images stay with me," writes Orr, "and the rhythms and sound all
