Hosanna Ringers and Cherub Choir Director
Phyllis has been the director of Trinity's Cherub Choir since 1998 and the director of Hosanna Ringers since 2007.
She strives to provide a positive initial experience for 4- and 5-year-old choristers by using folk songs, singing games, and activities.
Phyllis uses the Kodaly philosophy, a pedagogical method that emphasizes fine singing and musical literacy.
Phyllis has 16 years of experience teaching elementary music in both public and private schools in California, Ohio, and Georgia.
Currently , she serves as Middle School and Lower School Chorus Teacher at Pace Academy.
She holds a Bachelor of Music degree in voice performance and music education certification from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio.She is also a member of Trinity's Chancel Choir.
