Phyllis strives to create value for clients by helping them understand and maximize the impact their philanthropy has on current and future needs. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Phyllis was the Vice President of Planned Giving & Endowment for the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta for 8 years where she developed a comprehensive endowment program involving donors, professional advisors and community organizations. In total, Phyllis has over 28 years of professional fundraising experience and holds a BA from Florida Atlantic University and a Certificate in Financial Planning from the University of Georgia. Phyllis is a Past President and Board member of the Georgia Planned Giving Council as well as a member of the National PPP (Partnership for Philanthropic Planning). She is an active volunteer for a variety of local organizations including a women's empowerment foundation, middle school PTSA and lacrosse youth sports. Phyllis Silverstein Director, Planned Giving & Endowment Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta Phyllis is a career development director with 24 years of experience. She is the lead professional for the Jewish CommunityÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s Planned Giving and Endowment program at the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta. As the Director, she oversees the management and stewardship of Supporting Family Foundations, Donor Advised Funds, Restricted Endowment funds and endowment fund investments for agencies, organizations and synagogues in the Greater Atlanta area. She develops relationships with donors and their professional advisors to enable the creation of permanent endowment funds benefitting future generations of the community. TodayÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s leaders have an awesome responsibility and priviledge to provide a safety net for the generations of tomorrow. She began her career in 1984 at the Greater Miami Jewish Federation where she spent 14 years as the WomenÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s Division Director.
