Philip Hamilton
Philip Hamilton assists in the development and implementation of the Economic Justice Program strategy. As the associate for the Economic Justice Program, he identifies program partners, evaluates progress, and conducts necessary research to advance program goals. His work supports workers in the food chain and explores innovative economic models to promote community economic empowerment. Before joining the UUSC staff, Hamilton worked as acting managing editor at the Boston Global Forum, where he had previously served as an intern researching the forum's yearly topic. He has also conducted in-depth research on the human right to water while serving as an intern with UUSC and the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy at Harvard University. Hamilton holds a master's degree in development studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science as well as a bachelor's degree in political science and philosophy from Wheaton College.
