Phillip Bauer In 1996 Philip Bauer was asked to perform on the "Charlie Daniels Talent Round Up" on TNN. A year later at Johnnie Highs Country Music Revue, Philip left the stage with a Standing Ovation as the warm up act for superstar LeAnn Rimes. A songwriter in his own right, Philip has had his own original music played on over 300 radio stations across Europe. Selective Records out of Nashville marketed his songs to the European market. In 1998 Philip Bauer moved to Branson where he performed to capacity crowds. Philip received a standing ovation for his guest appearance on the "Down Home Country Show". He also was a honored member of the "Oklahoma Opry" from 1995-2000. In that time he won many awards including "Male Vocalist Of The Year"and "Entertainer Of The Year". In 2005, Philip was chosen to perform at the 10 year Memorial Concert to remember the victims of the Oklahoma City bombing. Philip performed to a capacity crowd of 16,000 people with Country Superstars such as Vince Gill, Joe Diffie, and Toby Keith. Philip currently travels across the United States,Canada,and Mexico performing The Legend of Johnny Cash Show to sold out audiences in theatres,casinos,fairs and festivals. Philip recently completed a 16 city tour of Australia.. he response from the audiences was so enthusiastic that he has been asked to come back "down under" for a 20 city tour.

About Philip Bauer as Johnny Cash Philip Bauer is currently performing "The Legend of Johnny Cash Show" Philip started his musical path in Minneapolis, Minnesota where he started thrilling audiences with his quality performances and competing in and winning many talent contests. In 1985 Philip won the Minnesota State Fair talent contest, 1st place from a field of over 800 contestants. His performance got attention and landed him his first contract to perform with a 40 piece orchestra every night of the 1986 State Fair. Philip sang with various cover bands through-out the nineties. Philip Bauer began his entertainment career in 1985 by winning a state wide talent contest in Minnesota.

Throughout the 90's Bauer played in bands performing his own music as well as his many impersonations of various artists. This award winning entertainer has performed in Branson and was a proud member of the Oklahoma Opry Association where he was honored with Male vocalist of the year and Entertainer of the year. Philip was asked to perform on Charlie Daniels Talent Roundup on TNN. He has performed with many Country Music stars including Leann Rimes, David Frizzell, Vince Gill, Jim Ed Brown, and Toby Kieth. Philip considers it a blessing to be able to bring the music and memories of Johnny Cash to all his audiences . His show has taken him all across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, New Zealand and five 26 city tours of Australia.
