Phil Wennblom is Director of Standards for Intel Corporation. As part of Intel's Global Public Policy Group, he has worldwide responsibility for direction and coordination of Intel's standardization efforts. Phil is responsible for company-wide standardization policy, training and coordination. His team leads Intel representation in key global standards setting organizations. Phil serves on the IEEE-SA Corporate Advisory Group, on the IEEE-SA Board of Governors, on the INCITS Executive Board, and he is chair of the Standardization Policy Committee of ITI. From 1989 to 2001, Phil held a number of positions in Intel's Mobile Platforms Group, including engineering manager, director of strategic planning and director of mobile technology development. Phil joined Intel in 1984 as a design engineer in Technology Development where he developed SRAM, EPROM and E2PROM products.

Phil WennblomPhil Wennblom is Director of International Standards, Regulations and Technology Programs for Intel Corporation.As part of Intel's Corporate Technology Group, he has world-wide responsibility for direction and coordination of Intel's standardization andregulatory efforts.The organization that he manages works with standards bodies and regulators in Japan, Korea, China, India, Russia, Europe, Brazil, the US and also with ISO, IEC and the ITU.As head of Intel's corporate standards office, Wennblom is responsible for company-wide standardization policy, training and coordination.He serves on the IEEE Corporate Advisory Group and is vice chair of the Standardization Policy Committee of ITI.From 1989 to 2001, Wennblom held a number of positions in Intel's Mobile Platforms Group, including engineering manager, director of strategic planning and director of mobile technology development.As engineering manager he led development of mobile versions of the Pentium processor and supporting chipsets.As director of strategic planning he established a new roadmap direction which optimized performance/power for mobile PC platforms.While in the Mobile Platforms Group, Wennblom managed Intel's involvement in a number of power management and wireless standardization activities.Wennblom joined Intel in 1984 as a design engineer in Technology Development where hedeveloped SRAM, EPROM and E2PROM products.He has a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
