Peter Zawadzki is currently the Professional Affairs Executive for Pharmasave National, where he collaborates with key stakeholders to advance the profession of pharmacy and guides Pharmasave through the changing healthcare environment.

is to advancing and promoting the profession of pharmacy.
He has served on numerous committees and councils that range from a community focus to governmental policy setting.
Peter is on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Pharmacists Association (CPhA) and Co-Chair of the Stakeholder Steering Committee on Private Drug Plans representing the CPhA.
has spoken nationally and internationally at pharmacy faculties and conferences on various pharmacy and health care issues.
passion for smoking cessation began in his
teens as he
watched his Mother's
quality of life deteriorate due to smoking-related conditions.
He was a facilitator for the Clinical Tobacco Intervention Program funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and is currently a facilitator/moderator for the Canadian Pharmacists Association's QUIT Program.
When the high prevalence of smoking was identified in HIV positive patients at the Immunodeficiency Clinic at the University Health Network, Peter
developed a comprehensive smoking cessation consultation program for clinic patients.
worked with the clinic nurses to monitor smoking status and readiness to quit, and then referrals were made to him for a series of personalized smoking cessation sessions.
Peter is also a founding member and Vice-President, Ontario for Pharmacists for A Smoke Free Canada.
