Rijneveldshoek's career at Ashland began in 1975 in sales for Ashland Specialty Chemical's Drew Industrial business in Rotterdam.Since then, he has served as general manager for Drew Industrial's Dutch operations and marketing manager for Drew Industrial Europe.In 1990, Rijneveldshoek was promoted to Drew Industrial vice president for Europe and the Middle East; and in 2002, he was assigned additional responsibilities as director of Ashland's European Shared Business Services.
In 2004, his
area of responsibility was again expanded to include the Asia Pacific and African regions for Drew Industrial. A native of The Netherlands, Rijneveldshoek earned a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Delft.
