wife have been married 32 years and they have 3 wonderful children, 1 son-in-law, and a seven year old grandson.
Following in his father's footsteps he went into the Industrial Cutting Tool business as a salesman, and later became a manager and President.
For over 30 years, Peter
not only learned much about the automotive and tool industry, but developed a real skill for interacting with people on all levels.
Peter's first assignment took him to Mexico, where he
had a front row view of the poverty that exists in our world.
vowed then that someday he
wanted to make a difference.
Working hard, he
had the opportunity to travel extensively throughout the United Sates, Europe, Japan and China.
A few years ago Peter
got tired of the corporate life and started his
own business, and soon after, LamanatorPlus, Inc.
As a young man Peter joined the Knights of Columbus, where he had the opportunity to do some of the charity work, which he continues today.
4 years into his
marriage God gave his
family a gift, their second child, his
only son, who was born with special needs.
Unable to walk or talk, he
has demonstrated over the years an unstoppable strength to achieve goals despite adversity.
The lessons that Peter
has learned from his
son have been amazing.
Because of him he
has an even greater desire to make a difference in the lives of people who have special needs, especially those that cannot help themselves.
Peter's real passion, along with the success of LamanatorPlus, Inc
, is to be able to build homes for special needs people so that despite their difficulties, they can at least have adequate care and housing that no one can take away from them.
You can also find Peter serving on several boards, including Lakeland's Golf and Country Club, The ARC of Livingston County and State board as well, and he is still a member of The K of C. The ARC is an advocacy organization that offers help and hope to individuals with special needs.
