...Pete Hammer : EditorPete Hammer is the editor of the MARKETING SCIENTIST.His
research interests are advertising, media and consumer behaviour. Pete is currently working as a Research Associate with the Ehrenberg-Bass Institute for Marketing Science and consults on a regular basis for a number of industry clients in Australia and around the world.He
also teaches in the School of Marketing at the University of South Australia
as tutor and lecturer in the areas of marketing metrics, consumer behaviour, advertising and media. Pete
has written a number of articles in the areas of advertising, media, market research, and wine marketing.He
is also enrolled in postgraduate study and is writing a research thesis.His
primary research interests are advertising and media - and his
thesis is addressing the impact of clutter on advertising effectiveness.He
recently conducted a large-scale, in-home research experiment addressing the impact of clutter in television, which has gained considerable attention in the media.
