The four-person panel will consist of a recovering sex addict (who is a member of Sexaholics Anonymous
[SA]), a person affected by another's sexual addiction (who is a member of S-Anon), Peter Crockett
(a therapist with experience in treating sexual addiction and a member of Metro DC Chapter), and a moderator who will frame the discussion, introduce panel members, and facilitate audience participation.

Crockett, LCSW, ACSW received his MSW from Rutgers in New Brunswick in 1971 in casework but began working in the inner city of Newark, NJ as a community organizer for a community center serving low income families.From there he moved to the Washington Metro area where he assumed the position of Chief of Clinical Operations with Second Genesis, a substance abuse treatment program.During this time, late 70's and early 80's, Peter was a member of the DC Metro Chapter, NASW, Board of Directors.Mr. Crockett
has been practicing in Alexandria for the last 22 years in a private practice setting focusing on the needs of the recovering community and their families.One of his
special interests is working with men and women who identify as sexually compulsive.He
has trained and consulted on this issue in many different settings throughout the country.He is a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist and Certified Substance Abuse Counselor.
