Peter Boynton Peter Boynton Peter has worked for over thirty years as an actor, singer, producer and director in stage, film and television productions around the country. After receiving his BA in Music Theory & Composition from the University of MA, Amherst, Peter moved to New York City to pursue his acting career. His stage credits include regional theater, national tour and Off-Broadway roles and the 1993-4 Broadway revival of She Loves Me. Television audiences know him from leading roles on ABC's One Life To Live, TBS's The Catlins and as the Latin villain Tonio Reyes on CBS's As The World Turns. Peter moved full-time to the Mad River Valley in northern Vermont eighteen years ago to raise his young daughter and to realize his vision of creating a social, educational and cultural facility on the grounds of the old Vermont dairy farm he had purchased many years earlier. The Skinner Barn was born out of these efforts and the site now hosts weddings, theater camps and music and theater productions produced by the non-profit The Commons Group of which he is the president. Peter teaches acting and directing classes at Burlington College and is a co-founder and Managing Director of Timely Transformations with his wife, Regina Darmoni.

Peter has worked for over twenty-five years as an actor, director and producer in dozens of musicals, both in New York and in regional theaters around the country, Locally, he has worked with the Lost Nation Theater Co. and Vermont Stage Co. and has helped shape the performing arts program at Harwood Union H.S. where he has directed and choreographed their spring musical for the past ten years. He is currently on the faculty of Burlington College where he teaches an acting and directing class.

The Skinner Barn Theater Company was founded by Peter Boynton in 2000.

Peter has worked for over thirty years as a singer, dancer, actor and director in dozens of musicals, both in New York and in regional theaters around the country. Locally, he has worked with Lost Nation Theater, Phantom Theater Co., the VT Conservatory of Ballet, VT Stage Company and has helped shape the performing arts program at Harwood Union High School where he has produced and directed their fall play and spring musical for the past twelve years. In addition to teaching the dance curriculum at Harwood Union School, Peter has also been a faculty member at Burlington College since 2004 where he teaches an acting and directing class for their film program.
