Peter Ankerstjerne, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for ISS World Services A/S, has been with the group for more than two decades after joining the Marketing and Business Development department of ISS Denmark. Over the years he has been involved in most aspects of service management, facility management, outsourcing, marketing and strategy development. Peter was also responsible for developing the Integrated Facility Services model that is still a key strategic focal point of the ISS organisation, and chairs the IFS Steering Committee. In 2001 he joined the corporate team where he now heads-up Group Marketing and reports to the CEO. Peter is the author of nine industry White Papers and co-author/editor of the three White Books that are part of the ISS 2020 Vision Series on the future of FM (and have been developed in collaboration with the Copenhagen Institute for Future Studies). He is also a former trustee of the IFMA Foundation and is actively involved in the industry as a speaker and debater. Peter is a member of IFMA, CoreNet, IAOP, and serves as the ISS representative at GlobalFM and EuroFM. In January 2015, he was voted one the five best CMOs in Denmark by an independent panel assembled by Berlingske Nyheds Magazine. Peter also sits on several advisory boards including the Advisory Board for International Business Development at Copenhagen Business School (CBS) and the Strategic Advisory Board at the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP). He holds an MBA and Bachelor's degree in Marketing Management from CBS.
