After graduating in 1988, he worked as an engineer/designer at Hyster Forklift Trucks and Nedcon Storage Technology, and as pre-sales engineer with the Dutch Mercedes Benz truck importer. In 1993 Peter started his career in journalism with Moto 73, one of the bigger motorcycle magazines in Holland. For over ten years, he worked for them as a technical editor, writing articles about motorcycling, about motorcycle technology and factory visits. Working for this magazine, Peter also developed his photographic skills to a professional level. He currently practices this craft, often producing digital materials using a Canon Eos 7. He also uses studieo-flashers for delivering high-quality product photography. In mei 2004 besloot Peter Aansorgh voor zichzelf te beginnen. Hij richtte Peter Aansorgh Producties op en schrijft nu onder deze naam voor diverse auto- en motorbladen, waaronder In May 2004 Peter decided to leave MOTO 73 to start a business of his own.
