Pete McQuillin - Cemetery Manager
As the manager of Penn Forest
, Pete's duties include operations management, cemetery development, forest restoration, finance, sales, and marketing of the cemetery.
Prior to Penn Forest, Pete
was the president and founder of Green Burial Pittsburgh, Inc.
, a 501-c-3 non-profit organization, which he
and co-founder Nancy Chubb started in January 2008 because of their personal desire for green burials for themselves and others in western Pennsylvania.
for-profit background includes starting two new businesses for PPG Industries, Inc.
, several businesses for Menasha Corporation, Inc.
, and running his
own export sales business.
Pete is currently vice president of the board of the Funeral Consumers Alliance of Western Pennsylvania, and serves on the boards of the Kiwanis Club of Penn Hills and the Penn Hills Community Development Corporation.
Pete previously served on the boards of the Spring Hill Civic League, the Pittsburgh Interfaith Impact Network, the Council on Realizing Excellence in Management, the Black and White Reunion and on church boards and committees.
