No one can accuse Pete Grigsby
students at BSSD Radio
for being lazy.
As it turns out, Grigsby
has been quite the busybody the last year.
fledging Blue Springs School District radio station, reaching the district airwaves last year, has broken into the big time: a weekly, four-day slot on 1030 AM, a local Christian radio station.
The broadcast time is Monday through Thursday, 4-5 p.m.
"This week was our first week on, and it's been great," said Grigsby, the station's advisor and a teacher at Blue Springs South High School.

Their desire was to create an all-encompassing radio and television experience, reaching into the community further than initially designed.
Over the summer, district staff and Grigsby
moved the studio to Blue Springs South High School
