INDIANA - The Indiana County Tourist Bureau today announced the hiring of Penelope (Penny) Perman as the new Executive Director."We are extremely pleased to have Penny on board," said ICTB's personnel committee chairman Ken Bisbee.

Perman is a graduate of Indiana Area Senior High School and has been involved in many local organizations; serving in leadership roles and officer positions.She was the owner of the former Bridal Train in Homer City and has served as the Hoodlebug Summerfest Chairperson for the past 7 years.Her community participation has led her to receive numerous nominations and awards.She is a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and lives in Homer City with her husband, Tony.They have two sons, Justin, a student at IUP and Jeremy, a junior at Homer Center High School.In addition, Perman has previously served as a Board of Director of the Indiana County Tourist Bureau, along with performing Tour Guide duties for bus tours and Trolley Tours to the Festival of Lights"."I'm very excited to be in this position and I look forward to promoting tourism for Indiana County," Perman said.
