brings a wealth of talent and experience to GIRLteams.Penny raced in the World Cup and National Mountain Bike Series from 1990 through 1995 where she was twice the National Champion Cyclist, a World Champion Cycling Medallist, and a six-time member of the U.S. National Team.She
has over 100 top-five finishes in cross-country, downhill and dual slalom mountain bike races since 1988.She
was also a finisher of the 1997 ECO-Challenge Adventure Race Qualifier.She was a professional ski instructor from 1987 through 1994 at the Mammoth Mountain Ski Area and Snow Summit, a guest instructor at the Rossignol Women's Ski Camp in 1994, and a guest coach at Kim Reichlem's Women's Ski Adventure at Heavenly Valley Ski Resort in 1992.In the summer of 1997, she was a guest coach and personality for the Western Spirit Cycling and Dirt Camps.In 1994, She was guest coach and instructor at the For Women Only Mountain Bike Camp in Big Bear, California.Penny is also a graduate of the Lyn St. James Auto Racing Camp which led to appearances on Good Morning America, Geraldo and ESPN racing up Pike's Peak in a car against Emerson Fitipaldi and Billy Kidd.Penny was the co-founder and host of the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) Awareness Expedition from January 1996 through December 1996.
