...Dr. Ward is a psychologist with extensive expertise in the evaluation and treatment of adults, adolescents, children, and families.She served as a senior consultant with the children and law program in the law and psychiatry service at Massachusetts General Hospital until 2002 and a clinical instructor of psychology in the department of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School until 2006.Prior to this, Dr. Ward was a partner for sixteen years in the psychological practice of Slatoff & Ward Psychological Associates in Nashua, New Hampshire, where she focused her practice on forensic issues.She has served as an expert witness in both civil and criminal matters, in both state and federal court.Dr. Ward
has presented at local, national, and international conferences on such topics as children and divorce, parental alienation, domestic violence, sexual abuse, psychological trauma, and eating disorders.She
provides continuing education to attorneys and guardians ad litem, teaching both beginning and advanced Category F training.Dr. Ward
was one of three mental health contributors to the revised booklet "Shared Parenting in Massachusetts."She
has specific forensic expertise in assessment of attachment, estrangement, visitation conflicts, abuse, alienation, and domestic violence in families in high-conflict divorce.Dr. Ward served as a guardian ad litem in cases in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont, and as an expert evaluator on various civil cases.She
