(OTC Bulletin Board: BBNV) today announced that it has hired longtime and well known Nevada banking professional Paul Workman
as one of its top five executives.Workman, a veteran of the banking industry for more than 31 years, was hired by Business Bank to be executive vice president and director of sales responsible for the Bank's branch relationship managers in southern Nevada. In 1985, he
relocated to southern Nevada from northern Utah to serve as a branch manager for Valley Bank of Nevada
.Prior to moving to Las Vegas, Workman was employed with the Bank of Utah for seven years and served as a branch manager of two branch facilities in the Salt Lake area.Workman began his banking career in 1975 with the Bank of Brigham City, Utah, where he served as a teller, collector and loan officer. A native Texan, Workman
grew up and attended schools in Texas, Colorado and Utah.He is a graduate of Utah State University in Logan, Utah, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Public Relations.He has also earned a number of banking certificates and degrees from the American Institute of Banking (AIB) as well as having been an instructor for this educational arm of banking.
Over the past three decades, Workman
has been very active in community outreach and various philanthropic endeavors.Some of his
involvement includes the Boy Scouts of America
, and past president of Business Watch Network and Paradise Valley Lions Club
.He currently serves as president of the Board of Directors for SafeNest and is a board member for the Boulder Dam Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America and the Police Athletic League of Southern Nevada.He also currently serves on the Governor's Commission on Nuclear Projects and the City of Las Vegas Audit Oversight Committee.
