Paul McGuire Named Senior Vice President, Worldwide Corporate Communications, Warner Bros. Entertainment
Entertainment communications veteran Paul McGuire has been named Senior Vice President, Worldwide Corporate Communications, Warner Bros. Entertainment, it was announced today by Susan Fleishman, Executive Vice President, Worldwide Corporate Communications and Public Affairs, Warner Bros.

McGuire most recently served as Executive Vice President, Network Communications, The CW, a post he held since 2006 when the network was launched.
In this role, he
conceived, directed and implemented all media relations strategies for the broadcast network, working closely with communications executives at joint-venture owner CBS to position the company across all media, digital and consumer platforms.
Additionally, as a member of the senior management team, McGuire was involved in key policy decisions, corporate messaging and presentations to advertisers, affiliates and press.
Before that, McGuire spent five years as Executive Vice President, Network Communications for The WB Network, where he directed and oversaw the communications department for the broadcast television entity and developed communications strategies and media messaging.
Previously, McGuire was Senior Vice President, Media Relations for the United Paramount Network, where he directed corporate communications strategy, crisis management, executive counsel and corporate messaging as well as supervised the broadcast network's media and talent relations department.
Prior to that, he was Vice President, Primetime Program Publicity at NBC, where he served as key spokesman to worldwide media, promoting the corporate image, goals and directives for the network, and directed NBC's bi-coastal television print publicity staff on such network shows as "ER," "Friends," "Seinfeld," "Frasier" and "Law & Order."
