Growing up in Boston in the 60's and 70's Paul Mawn had an early love affair with automobiles.
From Matchbox cars to plastic models, Paul
was a "car guy" practically from birth.
As a teenager he
friends were always working on a project car, changing an engine or transmission, doing some much needed body work and polishing what little paint remained on the car.
After studying mechanical engineering at Northeastern University in Boston , Paul started a career in technical sales that took him to Southern California , where he was immediately taken in by the Southern California car scene.

maintained a passion for hot rods and muscle cars, having owned over 40 cars from LS-6 Chevelles to '34 Ford Street Rods.
The winner of over 140 Trophies and the subject of four national magazine articles as a classic car enthusiast, Paul
has acted as a consultant to top collectors and dealers in the classic car arena.
Residing in Southern California since 1980, "the place to be for the cars I love," Paul has been able to turn his experience and passion for classic cars into California Classic Motorcars, LLC, a business established with his brother and business partner, Peter Mawn, who resides in Boston and handles the East Coast operation.
