Paul Hewett, PhD, CIH

Paul Hewett, PhD, CIH, is the founder and president of Exposure Assessment Solutions, Inc., and an adjunct professor at West Virginia University where he teaches a graduate seminar on industrial hygiene statistics and sampling strategies. Previously, Paul worked for 25 years as an industrial hygienist for NIOSH's Division of Respirable Disease Studies, specializing in the measurement of pneumoconiosis producing dusts. He received his PhD in industrial hygiene from the University of Pittsburgh, School of Public Health. Paul is also the author of numerous articles and chapters on exposure assessment and statistics for industrial hygienists, as well as a past chair of the AIHA® Exposure Assessment Strategies Committee

Paul Hewett Ph.D. CIH is the founder and president of Exposure Assessment Solutions, Inc. Previously, Paul worked for twenty-five years as an industrial hygienist for NIOSH's Division of Respiratory Disease Studies., specializing in the measurement and characterization of pneumoconiosis producing dusts. His credentials include a masters in industrial hygiene from Central Missouri State University (1978) and a doctorate in industrial hygiene from the University of Pittsburgh, School of Public Health (1991). Paul is also the author of numerous articles and chapters on exposure assessment and statistics for industrial hygienists, as well as a past chair of the AIHA Exposure Assessment Strategies Committee.
