Paul Graham Stanley (CARACAS)
Paul Stanley joined the JAHP Board in the year 2002. He is the co-founder and President of Angel Conservation, is English born and resided in Brooklyn, New York from 1986 to 2011 when he moved to Caracas, Venezuela to be with his wife. Paul is the proud father of two grown lads who live in England. Self proclaimed traveler and entrepreneur Paul has always enjoyed travel and immersing himself in local cultures on his world travels through which he has developed a special relationship with Venezuela, its people, the biodiversity and different cultures - most especially the Pemón of Kamarata Valley. Most of Paul's working life has been in the printing and publishing business, having worked for 20 years in the United States in sales and strategic development. He sits on a number of boards, including Jimmie Angel Historical Project and Literacy Assistance Center in New York City, and has raised money for many causes through the years. Paul says, "I originally formed an ecotourism company, Angel-Eco Tours, Inc (www.angel-ecotours.com) to work exclusively with Venezuela for one reason - to help support the indigenous communities in Kamarata Valley.

Paul has been a member and advocate of TIES for many years, he presently resides in Caracas, Venezuela and is the founder and President of Angel-Eco Tours, Angel Conservation and Fundacion Etnika. He formerly lived in Brooklyn New York for some 25 years working in the book printing industry and while there he attended the launch of The International Year of Ecotourism at the United Nations and then the first ecotourism summit in Quebec. His love of Venezuela led him there three years ago and he does a lot of work with the Pemón community in Canaima National Park (the home of Angel Falls) and most recently with a Piaroa tribe in the Amazonas region of Venezuela. Paul also founded EcoAlianza and Expoecoturismo in Venezuela. He has presented previously in Trinidad at an ecotourism event organized by the CTO (Caribbean Tourism Organization).
