Dr. Paul Bartos, Director Dr. Paul Bartos is Vice President and Chief Geologist of Esperanza Resources Corp. and is a noted authority on epithermal deposits. He was instrumental in Esperanza's discovery of the San Luis bonanza vein deposit, one of the highest grade precious metal deposits found in recent years. Prior to joining Esperanza, Dr. Bartos was Latin American Exploration and Business Development Manager with ASARCO Inc. He was also responsible for the discovery and development of the San Bartolome silver deposit in Bolivia, currently in production and now one of the world's largest pure silver mines. Dr. Bartos is also a director and co-chair of Colibri Resources.

Dr. Bartos joined the company in January 2007 to assist in overseeing its exploration activities in Mexico and South America as the Company expands its programs, in particular at the San Luis gold/silver epithermal deposit in Peru and the Cerro Jumil bulk-tonnage gold deposit in Mexico.
