Hilary Sue Craw, daughter of Bill and Patty Ferris Craw of Redlands, received her bachelor's degree in communications studies with a music emphasis from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo June 11.

At Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Craw was a team leader for the "week of welcome" student orientation, publicity director for the speech communications club, a three-year member of the University Singers, a two-year team captain and entertainment chairman of the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, and graduated with Lambda Pi Eta honors in communications studies.She plans to pursue a master's degree and a credential in secondary education guidance counseling.
Craw graduated from Redlands High School in 2001.At RHS, Craw was a four-year member of Kimberly Juniors and served as president in the 2000-2001 school year.She was Associated Student Body pep commissioner, president of the Chamber Singers, and a three-star thespian.She also received the Elton Michael Rouse family memorial scholarship, a Bank of America academic achievement award for vocal music and the Citrus Belt League principal's outstanding senior award.
