Patrick's primary focus is on the quality of patient care and the satisfaction of the patients, physicians and associates
Prior to his role as the CEO of Coral Springs Medical Center, Patrick served as the Broward Health Vice President of Corporate Operations where he supported the system's four hospitals and ambulatory centers, in addition to management of the corporate support departments and services.
Patrick was the President of the South Florida Healthcare Executives Forum in 2002, a professional healthcare organization affiliated with the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) committed to the education and networking needs of the South Florida Healthcare community.
As a member of the ACHE, Patrick passed the National Board of Governors' exam and became a Certified Healthcare Executive and has since achieved "Fellow" status of that organization.

He served as the Broward County Chairman for the March of Dimes' March for Babies in 2007 and 2008 helping to raise almost $2 million.
He served as the Vice Chair of the Coral Springs Economic Development Foundation and was actively involved as a trustee member of the Chamber of Commerce.
Patrick served for over a year as a board member for the South Florida Epilepsy Foundation where he helped to increase the awareness for patients with Epilepsy and raise funds to support their activities.
He was also involved in community associations as he served a term as Chairman of the Tamarac Chamber of Commerce.
Patrick completed his undergraduate degree in accounting at Widener University just outside of Philadelphia.
While at Widener, Patrick was selected to be an Ambassador for the University for his senior year by Widener's ambassador selection panel.
He was awarded his MBA in Finance from Temple University in 1994.
