Pat Mitchell, Board Chair
Pat serves as a volunteer Board Chair for the Anderson Center.
He has been a member on the Center's board of directors since 2002.
Additionally, Pat serves as a Discussion Leader for the Governance Forum, a course that explores the role of the Board and the duties of its Directors.
Prior to retiring as President and Chief Operating Officer of the Cold Spring Granite Company in Cold Spring, Minnesota, in 2006, Pat led and helped build the company for more than twenty years.
As a global leader in quarrying, fabrication, and marketing granite products to the commercial, institutional, and residential markets, and having recently celebrated its 110th anniversary, the Company provides a benchmark for other private companies in employee, customer, and owner satisfaction, and as a lean, high performance organization.
Currently, Pat serves as the Board Chair for two private Minnesota companies, DeZURIK, Inc. and Geotek, Inc.

Pat was an educator in his career and he invested heavily in management development and workforce training programs while at Cold Spring Granite.

Pat is a prior Board member for the St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce, and he also serves on the Board of Directors for Africa Jam, a non-profit organization providing after-school mentoring programs in South Africa.
Pat is an alumnus of St. Cloud State University.
