Sept. 2 -- Pat Clarke still has it.
Sure he knows sports, but it's his sharp wit that sets him apart.
On WESH's 6 p.m. news -- his first newscast at Channel 2 as sports director -- Clarke poked fun at himself and the station over the "Pat's Back" promos heralding his return.
It was funny stuff.
And it came after he delivered the relevant sports news for the early evening show.
