career in mortgage banking and finance, Pamela Hartwell
embarked on a life of community service which continues today.

Pamela's education includes a B. A. from the University of California, San Diego
Since 1994, Pamela
has served our community through various non-profit boards and committees.
Currently, she is a member of the advisory board at the San Diego Art Institute, trustee of the Committee of One Hundred, and director of the San Diego Youth Symphony, all located in Balboa Park.

Pamela has researched, authored, and published several articles relative to biographical histories of special people - all who have made significant contributions to our community, and institutions - which are part of our city's heritage.
