F. Differential Pay Plan: Pam Wilson spoke with the Board about the State plan. Mrs. Wilson stated that the plan she passed out to the Board is an embellished version of what was submitted to the Board in June. This plan is setting components to the differentiated pay and that it would be tied to the common core assessment that the teachers created the year before. ach teacher was asked to create for two subject areas or two courses. The teachers would like to pick from one of those subject or courses and Mrs. Wilson wasn't sure if the teachers would pick or the administrators. rs. Wilson stated that Mr. Gull advised to breaking the plan into four quarters with duties for the teachers to complete to be able to earn that quarter's differentiated pay and it also states that if the teacher does not meet all duties for the quarter that they would not earn their money and it would go back into the pot of money.

Mrs. Wilson stated that the first quarter has a requirement to attend a webinar and to write a commentary reflection on what they learned from the webinar and how it would apply to the test they will be giving to students. In addition the teachers will need to collaborate with another teacher in that subject and compare ideas and look at the different instrument to be used. Teachers will have to do another commentary reflection and submit it to their administrator. Students will be tested in the first quarter. uring the second quarter the Teachers will score and analyze test scores for each student's test. Mrs. Wilson stated that the teacher would create a teaching plan based on the scores. The Teacher's plan will have to be submitted to the administrator. Third quarter the teachers would administer the test to again the students to see if there is any growth and to see if the teachers are meeting the goals set for students. During the third quarter the teachers will have to submit a summary of progress to the administrator. During the fourth quarter the teachers will administer the same test to see growth in individual students. Mrs. Wilson asked the Board of what number of percentage of growth they would like to see in the plan. The Board and Mrs. Wilson agreed that the plans needs to have an addendum stating that the "Teachers working with students in a non-academic area will still need to have an assessment test and plan". Mrs. Wilson is to make adjustments and submit a new plan for the next meeting. Pam Wilson complimented the Board and thanked them again for their support for her trip to China.
