"I think it's a great program for awareness," said Pam Kudla, crisis intervention specialist working with the Meriden Police Department and the Meriden Youth Services Bureau.
"It's a whole curriculum.
We'll go through a lot of information verbally, the do's and don'ts.
When they complete it, they get a certificate."
The program is designed to target fifth-grade students but Kudla
said it is expected to expand to junior high school and high school students.
"It's so much more involved than people realize," said Kudla
, who worked with Meriden children vic-timized online.
