CRITICIZES HIGH TURN OVER OF CHIEF EXECUTIVES
Broadcasting Organisations of Nigeria (BON) has raised an alarm on the huge number of Chief Executives of Radio and Television stations that have been retired or summarily dismissed since inauguration of newly elected civilian governments in 36 states of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
In a statement in Abuja, the Executive Secretary of BON
, Osita Nweke
said that over fifty percent of the Chief Executives of publicly owned Radio and Television stations have been removed.
He stated that BON in its resolutions have condemned the frequent removal of Chief Executives since it does not promote continuity and professionalism.
