BON CRITICIZES HIGH TURN OVER OF CHIEF EXECUTIVES Broadcasting Organisations of Nigeria (BON) has raised an alarm on the huge number of Chief Executives of Radio and Television stations that have been retired or summarily dismissed since inauguration of newly elected civilian governments in 36 states of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. In a statement in Abuja, the Executive Secretary of BON, Osita Nweke said that over fifty percent of the Chief Executives of publicly owned Radio and Television stations have been removed. The State said that the appointment of the former Chairman, Broadcasting Organization of Nigeria was a well deserved as he had contributed immensely to the infrastructural development of Voice of Nigeria (VON).
