He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Pain Medicine, the American Academy of Pain Management, American Society of Anesthesiologists, International Anesthesia Research Society, the American Pain Society, the Florida Academy of Pain Management, and others; he is a life member of the Winthrop Stearns Fellows and Scholars Association.
Dr. Florete's research
has been extensively published, with numerous book chapters and journal articles to his
credit, as well as abstracts and teaching materials.
Dr. Florete received his medical degree from the Cebu Institute of Medicine in Cebu City, Philippines.
