The new book takes him farther afield from local trains to the tidewater region stretching to Stockton from the Bay Area to the Sacramento Delta. He limits the scope of his book to short lines that had a connection to or touched the Western Pacific line. The book is filled with pictures that will delight rail fans and anyone partial to old pictures of wonderful- ly quaint locomotives, antiquated stations and days gone by. The book will be available at the Western Pacific Museum of Portola, or call Norm at 832-4737 for more information.
