Norine Nathanson has been Crown Counsel at the Ministry of the Attorney General since 1991.
Since 2005, she
has been the criminal law lead on domestic and sexual violence initiatives.
In this capacity, she
has been responsible for developing and implementing initiatives to improve the criminal justice response to domestic and sexual violence, particularly initiatives that focussed on high risk domestic violence cases.
has developed and delivered a broad range of educational programs for justice professionals on domestic violence and victims issues within the criminal justice system and she
is a frequent speaker at national and provincial programs.
Norine will assume responsibility of the vulnerable workers/precarious work project for the duration of her year-long secondment with the LCO.
