Nicole Pisani - Logistics / Event Manager / Gets It Done
Nicole Pisani is a USAT Certified Race Director and an elite amateur athlete.
She brings seven years of multisport experience to her role as Director of Operations at Tri-Maine, and since joining the company in 2007 Nicole has been influential in the successful execution of many of Maine's premiere events.
On race day, she
can often be found with radio in hand, as she
has a talent for orchestrating complex race day communications and ensuring athlete safety.
Prior to becoming a Tri-Maine team leader, Nicole earned her BS in Health Science from Keene State University and worked in various adventure-based retail positions.
She has worked as a spinning instructor since 2000 and volunteered with Maine Handicapped Skiing at Sunday River over the past three winter seasons.
In addition to her
position at Tri-Maine
, Nicole coaches athletes of all abilities and focuses on beginning competitors looking to take their training to the next level.
holds a Level III USA Cycling certification and is currently working towards both her
USA Triathlon Coaching certification and Level 1 New England Nordic Ski Association
Nicole's background and continued training as an athlete contribute to her
success as an event director and coach.
Since running indoor track and cross-country in college, she
has competed in numerous events including Peaks to Portland, XTERRA, and the Pineland Farms 25k trail race.
greatest accomplishments include qualifying for the Winter Triathlon World Championship in 2008 and the "Best of the US" amateur triathlon series; completing the Marine Corp
marathon (her first) in under her
goal time; and open water swimming in the Caribbean while on a Swim Vacation
will compete in her
first half-Iron distance race this year.
When not training, competing, or overseeing event operations, Nicole
enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
