Nicki Pecori serves as Director of Finance & Development for the Illinois Housing Development Authority.
In this position, Ms. Pecori
provides direction and coordination for the planning, development, and implementation of financing activity of the Authority.
She serves as liaison and spokesperson for the promotion and development of financing programs - identifying needs and outlining appropriate lending programs.
She leads financing teams responsible for coordinating the issuance of Authority debt and capital products from conceptual stage to closing.
Prior to this position she has served as Assistant Director of Finance and Director of Financial Services.
Before joining the Authority in 1995, she served as Assistant to the Governor's Executive Assistant for financial agencies where her responsibilities included research, drafting briefings, and preparing statistical reports.
Prior to her service in state government, Ms. Pecori served in the corporate communications department of the Horace Mann Companies where she worked with a team of writers, designers and marketing representatives developing communications solutions for the national insurance company.
Ms. Pecori serves on the Loyola University Graduate School of Business Dean's Board of Advisors and the Board of Director for the Gold Coast Neighbors Association.
She is Past President of the Chicago Area Bradley University Alumni Council, Past Vice President and Nominating Committee Chair of Women in Public Finance, and is Program Coordinator for the Starlight Children's Foundation at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago
Ms. Pecori holds a MBA in Finance from Loyola University, Chicago, and a B.S. cum laude, from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois.
