Nicholas P. Paul, Q.C. graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1960.
received the Gold Key award on graduation.
In 1972 he was appointed Queen’s Counsel.
He is currently a Roster Mediator for Toronto in the Ontario Mediation Program and has acted as Counsel in numerous arbitrations and mediations and as a Mediator of ecclesiastical matters.
He has taken several courses and seminars on the topic of Alternative Dispute Resolution and in 2001 he was appointed a Chartered Mediator by the ADR Institute of Canada.
involvement in the community includes being the Chairman of the Election Committee for the conference of the organization of the Greeks in Diaspora and abroad in Thessaloniki, Greece in 2001.
In 1991, he
was awarded the Order of Saint Andrew by the Ecumenical Patriarch His
All Holiness Dimitrios of the Greek Orthodox Church
Mr. Paul’s publications include Uniform Community Regulations of Greek Orthodox Parishes
(1980 and bi-annual revisions to 1998), Securing the Purchase Transaction (Assets and Shares) (1983) for the Canadian Bar Association
and Buying the Business Assets (1988) for the Canadian Bar Association
