Nick Adamo is Senior Vice President for Cisco System's Service Provider business in the United States. In this role, he drives Cisco's overall relationship, investment, and growth strategy in the ILEC/ RBOC, Cable, Mobile Wireless, Emerging Carriers and IXC Markets. He leads a team of more than 1,000 people and has revenue responsibility in excess of $4 billion annually.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Adamo was Vice President of the US ILEC market and responsible for the company strategy and overall business relationships with the largest Incumbent Local Exchange Carriers. Mr. Adamo previously held key positions in the Enterprise market for Cisco, including the position of Vice President of the Northeast Area.
Additionally, Mr. Adamo was Operations Director of the Global Finance Operation for Cisco Systems in New York City where he managed the global relationship of Cisco's largest banking, brokerage, and market-data customers in New York City.
Before joining Cisco in July 1995 as an Account Executive supporting Merrill Lynch, Mr. Adamo spent eleven years with IBM in sales and sales management assignments in the finance industry.
