Nicholas Weatherly, PhD, BCBA-D, LBA (KY)
Dr. Weatherly is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral and a Licensed Behavior Analyst in KY.
Ph.D. from Western Michigan University's applied behavior analysis program in 2008, studying under Dr. Richard Malott.
primary areas of interest include behavioral systems analysis, behavior-analytic legislation, instructional design, rule-governed behavior, and the analysis and application of autism interventions.
Over the years, he has held appointments at the Stony Brook University School of Medicine and the Spalding University Applied Behavior Analysis Program, where he currently serves as chair.
Dr. Weatherly has served on the Board of Directors of the New York State Association for Behavior Analysis and was the first president of the Kentucky Association for Behavior Analysis.
His work with Kentucky ABA has also included roles as Legislation Chair and Conference Chair.
After the signing of Kentucky House Bill 159 in 2010, Dr. Weatherly was appointed to the Kentucky Applied Behavior Analyst Licensing Board, and has served as Chair of that Board since its inception.
During that time he
has worked with parents, clinicians, academics, and legislators to promote the dissemination and protection of behavioral services and those affected by behavioral services.
Dr. Weatherly is the President of the Academy at St. Andrews and a founding member of the Louisville Autism Friendly City group.
He serves on the APBA Convention Committee and the Affiliated Chapters Committee of the Association for Behavior Analysis International.
