Dr. Weatherly is a consultant with Aubrey Daniels International and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral.
Ph.D. from Western Michigan University's Applied Behavior Analysis program in 2008, studying under Dr. Richard Malott.
primary areas of interest include behavioral systems analysis, behavior-analytic legislation, programmed instruction, rule-governed behavior, and the analysis and application of autism interventions.
He began his career at the Stony Brook University School of Medicine and over the years has held academic and clinical positions in areas including special education, behavior analysis, pediatrics, and organizational behavior management, most recently in St. Cloud State University's Applied Behavior Analysis program.
After the signing of Kentucky House Bill 159 in 2010, Dr. Weatherly was appointed to the Kentucky Applied Behavior Analyst Licensing Board and served as Chair for the first years of the board's operation.
During that time he
worked with parents, clinicians, academics, and legislators to promote the dissemination and protection of behavior analytic services and those affected by them.
Dr. Weatherly has held advisory roles and served on the board of directors for a number of professional associations, advocacy groups, and service agencies, including the New York State Association for Behavior Analysis, the Minnesota Northland Association for Behavior Analysis, the Louisville Autism Friendly City group, and the Autism Treatment Association of Minnesota.
He is the past president of the Kentucky Association for Behavior Analysis and the Academy at St. Andrews.
