Nelson Mwale Director:OperationsMwale
completed a NHD Mechanical Engineering at Wits Technikon, MAP from Wits University
and a MBA degree at Henley Management College
.He started working at Barlows as a trainee technician and was appointed projects engineer on completion of his engineering studies.Mwale left Barlows in 1989 to join Dorbyl Structure in projects and spent three years before leaving to join SAB as a management trainee.After three years at SAB he joined BDM (now NamITech) in June 1994 as a production manager.In 1999 Mwale became a founding member of empowerment company, Mphatlalatsane Investment Company (MIC) together with a number of management colleagues and bought 18% stake in NamITprepaidz.He was appointed Managing Director and a Director on the Board of NamITprepaidz.
Nelson Mwale, the operations director of NamITech Telecommunications, said open and honest relationships with customers had resulted in the company not having a single debt with its customers.
"We are good in emerging markets and we can't keep up with our growth in Africa," said Mwale
added that NamITech's
telecoms division was solidifying its evolving model and was not willing to risk its business either in Europe or elsewhere.
"We are passionate about Africa's positive challenges.It's not an environment that could be traded by anybody," Mwale

The South African company, Namitech (Johannesburg), security printers with a Heidelberg offset printing press equipped with a conventional printing unit, was clearly highly impressed by the technology of the Genius 52 UV sheet-fed offset printing press: "the shorter set-up times of about five minutes, low start-up waste as well as consistent printing quality and inking and the modest space requirements for this five-colour offset press which is operated single-handed have fully convinced us" according to Nelson Mwale, Technical Director at Namitech.The Genius 52 UV is used in particular for the production of cheque cards and credit cards.
