...Neil Mason, CIONeil Mason joined FRM in November 2006 to research, evaluate and plan the FCA business.Neil is the Chief Investment Officer of FRM Capital Advisors Limited.Previously, Neil was Chief Executive at BlueCrest Capital Management, responsible for business and capacity development, trader management and risk management, having joined the business as a portfolio manager. Prior to that, Neil was Head of European Interest Rate Trading at Bank of America in London with responsibility for the trading businesses for European Government Bonds and Repo, Swap and Swap Derivatives, Interest Rate Structured Products and the Proprietary Desk.He was also a member of the European Global Markets Management Committee.Before joining Bank of America, Neil spent over 12 years at JP Morgan in a variety of trading and trading management roles.
Between 1989 and 1993, Neil
traded the swap and swap derivative books for a number of different European currencies, including the Deutschemark swap and option book.
Between 1993 and 1996, Neil
co-managed the European interest rate trading business, with specific responsibility for core European currencies.This included the interest rate derivative and government bond trading businesses in London, Brussels and Frankfurt.Between 1996 and 2000, Neil
ran the Emerging Market Derivative Trading Business in London, with trading responsibility for local market derivatives, index products and external debt derivatives. Neil
gained a Scholarship to University College
, Oxford from which he
holds a Batchelor of Arts degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics.
