President: Ned Berube
Ned Berube assumed the presidency of the ARC in April, 2001 after Ray Nethery served as the Founder in that capacity for 20 years. Ned became an atheist in November, 1966 in the middle of the massive upheaval of the '60s, with assassinations andVietnamandWoodstock. However, in his first three months atMarquettein 1970, he met his match in Jesus Christ and was converted to the Gospel and the ancient faith. He felt called early on to the ministry, and after a short stint in Bible school, he and his wife Susan connected to a communal ministry that was helpful in practical training. He began to pastor in 1975 and after two years went to teach at a discipleship school for four years. That was followed by a church plant in Spooner, WI in 1981 (CornerstoneChurch) and in 1987 he moved toSt. Paul,MN, where he still resides. In 1992 he plantedChristCommunityChurchinSt. Paul, which became part of the ARC in 1995. Ned also began a ministry to leaders and teams called Whitewater Ministries, which continues to this day. Its goal is very simple: to be supportive to leaders and teams in small-to-medium-sized churches. He has travelled extensively throughout the world, particularly toPoland,Brazil,China and Thailand. Ned and his wife Sue have been married for 41 years and have 6 children: Renee, married to Jon Horsman; Lisa, married to Jonas Schaefer, Greg, married to Andrea, Dan, Eric, and Lauren. Renee is the eldest child of Ned & Susan Berube. Ned Berube
