Nathan M. Longenecker Nathan Longenecker's diverse litigation experience includes representation of clients in complex business, securities, environmental, natural resource and toxic tort matters. He has successfully represented clients in jury trials, bench trials and appellate proceedings in state and federal courts and in arbitrations, mediations and governmental regulatory matters. Nathan has litigated tort and breach of contract actions, class actions, securities disputes, environmental citizen suits, oil and gas disputes, trade secret disputes, insurance coverage disputes, adversary proceedings in bankruptcy, and lawsuits concerning the application of state and federal mining laws. He has extensive experience in preparing and defending cases involving the Clean Water Act, CERCLA, RCRA and related claims arising under state law. Nathan also has significant experience in international matters and previously served as Vice-President and General Counsel of a publicly traded international mine exploration company.
Nathan received his undergraduate degree from Colorado College. He received his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1994 where he was a member of the Order of the Coif and the San Diego Law Review.
